Ilulissat Cultural History Museum
Learn about the town`s history and former settlements, experience interactively traditional toys, observe clothing and tools that have been crucial for survival. The upper floor presents a detailed view on the kayak and its hunting gears.
Ilulissat Art Museum
At least six international contemporary exhibitions are annually presented on the first floor. The second floor presents the collection. Here you meet Greenlandic contemporary art, and Danish paintings with a romanticizing depiction of Greenland guide you through the colonial period.
Museum Shops
The shop of the Cultural History Museum is well know for its finest arts and crafts as well as its book collection.
The Art Museum is the only place where you can buy original, signed art works by Greenlandic artists as well as art books and postcards.

Ilulissat QR – Walk and explore
